1 cup pecan nuts
1 cup pitted dates
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1-2 Tbsp cold water
Blend the nuts, dates and cocoa until they are well chopped. Slowly add a little cold water as you blend until the mixture starts to clump together.
Tip the mix into a low sided dish and flatten with a spatula. Tidy up the edges so that you have an even finish. Chill in the fridge.
Cut into squares and serve by slipping a slicer under the raw brownies. Eat with a fork.
We had ours with some fresh strawberries.
