Apple Crumble

We have a couple of boxes of beautiful apples which need eating up, a real mixed bag of types! So they went into the crumble regardless of whether they were cookers or eaters.

You will need:

As many sliced apples as you can fit into your dish
150g plain flour
100g sugar
50g vegan margarine
2Tbsp ground flaxseed

I added some ground flaxseed just for a change. It worked out really well, plus it’s great for your omegas!

To do:

Start by mixing the flour, sugar, margarine and flaxseed in a food processor, or mix by hand until it looks like fine breadcrumbs.

Tip your sliced apples into a baking dish and add just a dash water and a sprinkling of sugar. Spread the biscuity mix on top and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes at 190C.

  1. Howdy, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a
lot of spam remarks? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can suggest?
I get so much lately it’s driving me crazy so any assistance is very
    much appreciated.

Hi, thanks for your comment and question. I don’t really get much spam, but on wordpress you can alter your settings to allow the blog owner to moderate comments before they get posted. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. Hope things work out for you :)
