Savoury Sandwich Topper

I found a brilliant use for this can of chestnut purée that had been sitting in my kitchen cupboard since before Christmas!

It made a superb sandwich topper for lunch. You could also eat it as a dip with chunky raw vegetables.

Using a stick blender, blend the chestnut purée with some fresh lemon juice, garlic granules, salt and pepper. Spread on your bread, hey presto lunch!
