I thought I’d try a new sauce mix for the stirfry vegetables we had tonight! We had mushrooms, red and yellow pepper, onions, lots of garlic, plus sauce:
Hoisin sauce mixed with a little soy sauce, lemon juice and chilli powder… delicious!
We should’ve had the stirfry with brown rice, but shopping day is tomorrow and we’d run out. So, unusually, we had it with some penne pasta. It was actually quite good with pasta as there was a fair amount of sauce to coat it with. We threw some toasted sunflower seeds on top before eating.
