Hummus – TheVeganGreen Way!

1 can cooked chickpeas
1 dessertspoon smooth peanut butter
2 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 dessertspoon lemon juice
A little olive oil
Salt (to taste)
Sprinkling of chilli powder

Food process all ingredients until consistency is either roughly mixed, or smooth, as you prefer. Taste to check seasoning and adjust if necessary.

Eat with fresh bread, pitta or toast. It’s also good with chopped vegetables like carrot, cucumber, celery, etc.
